MHCC Hosts 5th Annual "As We Age" Health Expo

May 10, 2012 – Leominster_On Thursday, May 24th from 10:00am-2:00pm Montachusett Home Care is hosting their 5th annual “As We Age” Health Expo. This fun, free event will be held at the Leominster Elks on 134 N. Main St. in Leominster and is open to all.

Free health screenings for adults will be offered along with information on hot topics dealing with issues for seniors. Health screenings include blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, diabetes information, bone density screening, stroke, memory screenings, nutrition, and more. Anyone wishing to speak with a pharmacist, nurse, chiropractor, or rehab specialist will have an opportunity during this event. Also, a representative from the Worcester County District Attorneys office will talk about fraud and the latest scams.

A free lunch catered by the award winning Sonoma Restaurant will be served. Entertainment during the event includes a game of “fitness bingo”, a gardening demonstration for those with limited mobility, and the comedy and magic of Eddie Raymond.
